    2000 Yamaha GP800 top speed?

    Can anyone tell me roughly what the top speed should be on one of these? Took mine out for the first time yesterday and couldnt get about 38 mph. I was reading the specs on my GP760 and seen a top speed of around 55-58, so i was expecting far more than 38 mph out of the 800.
