    Cool kitchen toy

    So we have a pot thats lid has a steam hole in it and the best thing about it is when the water gets to boiling the steam hole, which is shooting way off on an angle, starts to spin! :D AHH, the little funny things in life. You do know that this opens the door for experimination and scalds. ;)

    Stuck in forward I think

    MR leg, Well we re did the water pump in the drive, put it back together as per the book, it will go into forward gear but not into reverse. (If we do this when it is runnig as thats how we found out, the motor stalls) any thoughts Rob

    Carb base gasket replacement

    1985 merc 260 rotchester 4mv carb OK, so it seems that the poor idle I was expierencing was from a cracked base gasket. Would it be better to use the thicker base gasket, or the skinny stock one??

    I am all for safety and all, but this seems to be pushing the envelope buy suggesting that a tube or a pool toy is a vessel, as the only propulsion is the floater and for the most part it is the rivers current that is giving the thrust??? (read columns left to right)

    Sorry guy's this is part of the triple check on the trim sender gauge. Trim gauge has four wires. power in 12+ vdc--YES Ground- YES illumination wire- yes Sender wire????? Shorted sender wire stud to ground, needle did not move!! so the gauge is hooped???
