    Pump themed anchor

people that use the cheep carabiner snap clips loose their anchors all the time as they come unsnapped if you give slack, allow the rope to twist 90 degrees and pull.

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

sounds like a "hold my beer and let me dull them" event. fiberglass and 17-4 stainless both dull bits and saw blades and hole saws in very short order.

Volvo Penta engine coupler runout … aka wobble

first, make sure the coupler is mounted properly. then make sure you are looking at the hub you dont have a bent crankshaft. forces required to bend the crankshaft would have broken the block

Installing a trolling motor on a 21ft CC

the V would be a good area I was thinking more in the back of the hatch area, under the cup holders myself one in the V, one on each side under the drink holder. could also do 6 smaller batteries if you need packaging or a custom battery pack (there are companies that make custom packs out...

Installing a trolling motor on a 21ft CC

I would go up under the seats in the front as my first thought. close to the speakers and under the cup holders and back-rest post second location would be under the deck in the front hatch area. would require building a ledge in the hatch area to hold them. the head area is a bit...

Switching from Volvo TBI to Carb on a 1996 5.7 GI

the other thing for more power if that is your goal. upgrade the heads to vortec. your boat may be a 1996, however the picture in post 16 is of a 1986-1995 intake (non-vortec). most likely your motor has 1991-1995 swirl port heads if your block is an 880 block, then your motor is a 1995...

How Can I Prevent Fouled Spark Plugs When Running at Idle for a long time?

what color are the plugs? white, tan, black? is it fuel fouling or oil fouling? is it running too cold and you are getting condensation? are you suffering from reversion? you should be able to idle for perpetuity unless either your carb is set too rich, your ignition system is not up to...

Seriously, if you want more power, while ditching the TBI, Get a bigger cam, get the marine Edelbrock carb, a 1-1/2" carb spacer and swap to a 750 cfm 4-barrel
