    that is correct. except for bonding wires, you NEVER pass current thru the boat. it will literally dissolve from galvanic corrosion.

    make sure you are grounding the correct wire. If I recall, there are 2 connectors between the temp switch and the main harness. make sure you have continuity.

    Not all A2 hose is the same. Seriously, get the corrugated stuff, or change your fuel fill to one with an elbow

    Spent the day cleaning the fuel system on one of the mopeds. 1981 Motron Medalist (Marinelli) The last time it was run was 10 years ago. Need to get a replacement petcock unless I can get it to stop leaking with a custom nylon seal

    They make elbows you can buy. They also have fuel fillers with elbows on them They make corrugated A2 hose for really tight bends

    Are you sure on the size of the A2 hose? Most marine fuel tanks are 1-1/2" I'd for gasoline and 2" for diesel. On an 18' boat I would expect it to be 1-1/2" The A2 hard wall hose is stiff, but simply let it sit in the sun for a bit. There will be a natural curve to the hose from the spool...
