    Pulling Volvo SX Drive

    I am pulling a Volvo SX drive off an OMC 5L. I have the six housing bolts off and the shifter cable loose. The drive has separated about 10 mm from the top portion and will not come off any further. Am I missing something? What else would stop the gearbox from sliding off? Thanks, J

    Mercury 50 Ignition
