    take time to blow out the ls orifice in front of the needles ...then install the needles to specs . takes just a few more minutes for peace of mind up to you :)

    J have 2 carb models which ever they are.... they propably need a good look at the LS circuits /choke etc... try a shot of fuel into the carbs to see if the engine burps alive if yes ...fuel intake issue to solve. " It appears to be getting spark." better check again ! and confirm !!

    relay contacts welded closed due to dirt or... defective control switch ! try just tapping the relays see if it release or... pull the suspect relay and the the motor will stop see typical diagram

    try 34 #9 is a orifice likely just to let air go in the carb and mix with the fuel from the LS needle 34 carb clean the orifice with a shot of carb cleaner and a small monofilament ( maybe 4 pound size)

    one rabbit at a time ! clean the carb's low speed orifices ...all of them & blow dry them out or open up the idle screws .5 turns to 1.0 and TELL US what happens !!! jmho

    The water temp while running is Luke warm, and the amount of water is like my 4 year old taking a leak! wish I could pee like a 4 year old :-)

    have you ever pulled the cyl head to check the water passages to see if all crudded up ...being a salty . was trying to find the thermostat in the past list but 57 may not have one ???

    yep...later models are cable but did not have your mdl ...same issue anything changed on the cable linkage...something misadjusted

    ok so electrical all ok, compression ok carbs ok throttle plate ok link sync ok yet fuel does not reach it's destination to start the engine ... any chance the crankcase case vacum needed to "pull in" the fuel is low compared to your "5 other working motors". It is a bit ackward to...

    I did not mess with the adjustments, so I assume (or rather, hope) they are where they need to be. actuualy they are probably exactly at the proper place the problem is the fuel crud which blocks a very small passage hence the need to just open up the idle counter clock wise to check for...
