    great.... I guess some are just more pointy or blunt see pict. what about the plugs do they look wet or dry when it dies ? inlet needle doing the job ? bulb get hard ??

    your HS needle is very pointy... seems they are usually more blunt than that certain it is the correct needle ? wild guess maybe fat donut in place ?

    check for sparks (plug out and grounded ) across the whole range of the cam. spin it with a drill ....does it spark at all magneto cam positions ??? if OK the suspect a fuel issue then. it is drowning or starving did you try to adjust the HS needle since LS does not seem to be...

    how is compression ? maybe crankcase vacum leak reeds ? you can always sell it and get a nice 2 cyl JW :-)

    great news ... if the motor (T&T) is not cooked it may be just in need of a rebuild. I had mine done 2-3 years ago I could not raise mine and it was just seals. keep everything greased up with regular upkeep !

    old style carb going back to the 60's idling sucks gas from the top of the carb so that works :) higher speeds suck gas from the HS nozzle feed by the bottom HS needle. Have you tried openning up the HS needle a bit left (counter clock wise) ? Or... try closing the needle a bit in...

    After checking the neutral switch if the problem still persists put the key on START and have a buddy wiggle the wiring all the way back to the engine . check any connectors for oxidation

    try removing the sintered filter for a test ... or you can install a small round filter for lawn tractors or similar on a temporary fuel line.

    I never started mine up but I think they are a bit finicky to adjust have you openned up the LS needle or anything else to get the fuel to flow in the carb. recheck the float but I suspect it is OK being an upside down inlet needle ..check side clearances in case it does snag in...
