    Volvo drive oil

    Neighbor has been using quicksilver hp drive oil in his outdrive for the last 3 years. Don't know the exact drive right now,but it's a duoprop. I know volvo recommends volvo oil only,but what could happen? Is their oil that much different? Grub

    Re: Trick To Removing Old Hose? Look up hose pick. They work well to get between the hose and fitting and not damage it. I've used the cheaper ones and end up bending,breaking them. My current one is a snap-on and is holding up well.

    Shore power breaker

    Hi, been looking to install a 30 amp breaker on my shore power line. Would like to put it in a weather resistant box in the cockpit area,just after the shore power inlet.I cant seem to find one that looks good,easily opened quality built. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Grub

    Re: Holding tank There should be a fitting on the deck to hook up a pump out fitting. Most marinas have the proper fittings and pump by their fuel dock,usually charge a fee for doing it,but do it free if ya are buying fuel and supplies.
