    Wow, I hope you didn't pay for that. The welds are good, but he should have known not to just do it in one long weld. I don't know, that's a lot of warp to try to hammer out.

    Because we had it, and it matched the color. Otherwise we had some more expensive eva foam pads, I think teak and grey. Not a good fit.

    The plate is reinforcment for the trolling motor. It had enough torque that it cracked the surface. There is actually a reinforcement plate welded underneath from the factory, and it cracked on one of the welds.

    I finished the Crestliner yesterday. Looks like I forgot to take a picture though. The only difference is a rubber diamond tread pad on the starboard side of the nose.

    Planning to cut flush against the lock nut? That's whatI would do. Yeah, that stuff can be pretty hard to remove. We have this stuff. It works pretty well, but I think it's expensive. Don't remember how much, but it made me think "screw that!".

    Your pictures didn't work for some reason. Iboats has a file size limit, so try reducing the size/quality of the pictures.
