    This is a pic of the main nozzle part#F016133....it's threaded so it screws out. It may be corroded in there pretty good....

    Be careful trying to remove that main nozzle. If you bugger it up you might have to get a new carb. What is your idle mixture screw set at? And do you have a factory manual?

    Did you take the carb off, take it apart, clean it real good, set the float, etc? What setting did you use for the needle? Since it will start momentarily by adding fluid down the throat it seems like the carb is restricted. Any fuel that was in the tank before topping off was definitely bad...

    I would start by dropping the LU and checking the water pump and replacing the impeller. If the housing is in bad shape replace it too. Especially since you just got the motor and it's history is probably unknown.

    Those are the correct part numbers.....not sure why they don't fit your motor. Might give Franz Marine a call in the morning. Tell him what you got and he should have a solution.

    It has been said that the best kind of oil is CLEAN oil.......of the proper viscosity. Synthetics really shine for temperature extremes and severe duty use.
