Thanks for the reply Yam, I know exactly what he is saying. If you read one of my previous statements ,Im done for the season and I am fine with replacing a relatively inexpensive "suspect" part that I can do myself. When was the last time you could do a repair or part replacement for under $100...

Spoken truly as a nonbeliever of preventative maintenance. My motto is "When in doubt...Change it out"......( especially if its priced reasonably) .I recommend you keep your towing insurance paid up Boscoe. Charlie

Yes it seems like a simple unplug but my rig is home for the off season as of yesterday so I may replace it anyway in the offseason.Looks like a part that is les than $100 so why not replace.Charlie

The switch on the motor cowl seems extremely sensitive and engages the moment I touch it without pressing on it.I think Im gonna change this switch out either way if it is not cost prohibitive.I gotta look up the part unless someone here already knows.? Charlie

    Tarps

The darker the color in the sun the quicker it will wear.I run a line,/ rope,/cord thru all of my grommets on each side and do the tie downs on the line/rope/cord which puts less stress on the grommets making them last longer. You can also put the silver side out which for some reason nobody...

2 flat & wavy washers along with plastic washer not under impeller cover ?

The items missing will affect your water pump performance only.Get a manual and read how to be certain your lower is in neutral. You should be able to drop lower far enough without removing it to move shift shaft to where you can move prop until you achieve neutral.Clymer manual spells it out in...

Thats exactly where the moorings are!! I see them from the Pompano beach fishing pier and south through Ft.Lauderdale. If you dont know of them then you have not been there. They are in a line ,not sure how far north they go or how far south but like I said.....If you dont know of them then you...

Ocean side has many beaches with mooring balls out quite a bit further than you are thinking.Lots of coral down there which could easily make your anchor a permanent resident of the ocean floor. Charlie

That oring can be reused if not damaged. It will work fine as long as your upper and lower are mated together tightly.Charlie

I have 2 switches, one on the shift lever and one on the motor lower cowling. Will be taking a closer look this weekend.I dont think the relays are simple plug in like on some Evinrudes

Trim/tilt system stopped working; can here clicking from the relays.
