    Anyone know what this is???

    Oh ok.It looks like a small thin key .Hole in one end and not quite a wrench end on the other side.approx 1/2 of my finger length.It was taped to a card which has authorized "RITCHIE" dealers listed so I assume something to do with a compass???

    woodruff keys in this application are supposed to be tough to apply and tougher to remove. If yours "fell out" it either was incorrect woodruff key or not installed properly.

    Did you service the impeller??? sounds like that could have been done incorrectly.Put the lower on a bench and see if the prop turns when in gear. it should turn easily.If not then work backwards and remove the water pump cover and impeller..Charlie

    For a quick answer on the batteries run your engine compartment lift while the motors are are running and that should give you a good clue. I would run the motor on each battery separately and see if the compartment lift acts differently.Charlie

    I was over due for this to happen.

    Old/contaminated gas serves me well as weed and brush killer. Spray the brush or weeds only and not the ground and no harm done except to the weeds or brush.Charlie

    Harmonic balance .Easy fix with sleeve kit and will leak precisely the amount of oil you mentioned. Been there...had that done. Charlie

    BAD ADVICE!!!! DO NOT EVER SOAK WHEN IT COMES TO ACETONE!!! Acetone will ruin whatever it soaks!!! Only wipe acetone and if it does not work then try something else but DONT SOAK anything plastic/fiberglass in nature with acetone ....Unless you want a hole....Been there....done that...

    You can try to get things softened up by saturating a rag with carb cleaner and wiping over the paint a few times.Charlie
