    Agreed the odd thing is that I find with my boat it gets less in the bilge from rain water when it's actually out on the mooring than when it's in the driveway.

    The best auto bilge switches I used were the Sure Bails with the Mercury switches. First one lasted 12 years and the one I put in after that is about the same age now. I bought a spare back then so if this one fails I have a replacement. They don’t make these anymore as far as I know….

    The anti siphon valve is not for preventing fuel from running back to the tank it is there as a safety device, in case the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump leaks, fuel cannot siphon out of the tank into the bilge. This can be the case if the fuel line drops lower than the top of the tank...

    For that, I added: 235/75-15 Load Range C tires Bilstein 4600 high pressure gas shocks Air Lift air bags in the rear coils for towing I set the tire pressure at about 40 psi.

    Ok when I did my Cobra cylinders in the instructions I got with the BRP kit there is a trick using a tin can to compress the split rings without damaging them. I’ll see if I can find pix of what I did.

    You dont even have to remove the cylinders from the transom mount to do this job, as long as none of the trim hoses are leaking!

    I did the ones on my old Cobra a couple of years ago and as long as you can get the end cap off it’s not a hard job. Parts cost was $52 per cyl.
