Constant drain of 1 of 2 batteries

If drawing down overnight you have a healthy draw or the battery may have an internal short. Disconnect the battery and see how long it takes to drop down. You might even hookup a small 12v test light to keep the battery from going to sleep. If it drops quickly while disconnected you have a...

    Boat to trailer latches

Here are some before and after the latch install. Compare the angle of your bow to mine. An angle straighter (more verticle) than mine may not latch. My eye was right under the bow stop which was perfect for height. If your winch stand can slide on the tongue, slide it forward, install the...

Constant drain of 1 of 2 batteries

This drain takes place over how long a period of time? A small cabin light should not drain it overnight. If it is getting drained overnight it needs to be a pretty good draw. Had a similar issue last year, but it took a good week or two to drain the battery.

    Boat to trailer latches

The bow needs to be on an angle where the bow eye is....if the bow is to vertical it won't latch. Mine is close, not angled as much as the factory recomends .. I have to make sure the roller on the latch is tilted toward the ground before running the boat on. If I do that it latches...

    Bearing buddy issues

Been using BB for decades, no issues after I followed the instructions closely ! Early on I was over filling them. Then they came out with the ones that gave the little weep hole...you fill until grease comes out the hole and quit. Never have had an issue since. Also highly recommended to...

    Best Deep Cell Marine Batteries

Always better to have far more battery capacity than needed, rather than being short and running the battery to far down....that is the biggest cause of failure ..

    Boat to trailer latches

yes I did. Needed some fine tuning and getting the trailer the correct depth. Once figured out....it is great ! Like many others, I have a full roller trailer so the boat will roll back with no power from the motor. Rollers also need adjusted so your boat is supported completely by the...
