    Attn. Puget Sound boaters :)

    I'm bringing a boat back from Portland OR to Sidney BC... one option is to have it hauled from Portland to Olympia or Tacoma then cruise back through Puget Sound / San Juan islands / Gulf islands and viola'! Since I've never boated in Puget Sound... barring a storm is the it passable this time...

    Which prop would you use

    I have tried 2 props and can't decide. Which would you use? This is the boat... a 1992 24' Sea Ray cuddy with a 5.7 / alpha (1.5-1 gearing), 400 (adult) hours on it and runs great. So with 2 people and full fuel and water... Both props are Mirage ss units. 19"p : wot = 44 mph @ 4050 rpm and 32...

    Engine cooking

    The hot dog thread reminded me of this. Our local 'boat journal' has the odd recipe in there. Cooking prep and times similar to a crock pot on high. We tried a veggie/spice/rice in tinfoil and it was yummy (and fun). Anyone else tried this?

    Tomorrow at noon I'm getting 4 wisdom teeth out. I guess that's not a big deal other than some pain... normally. I take blood thinners for an 'issue' I had in 1992 (a-fib now) and this is the first time I've been off of them. I'm a little nervous about it...
