    It’s just below the lube vent plug on the port side of upper just below mercruiser sticker will have the serial number and drive ratio, will also be stamped in drive under the mercruiser sticker if you have the serial number this is the best way to order parts

    What is the serial number on your drive? To my knowledge yes the 315 works for all the internal clip ones but if u get A different measurement let’s take a look what are the other dimension of the joint...

    Yeah even on mig you need different wire and a trim is gas for optimal penetration. Most time I use a Tig for this stuff. Maybe got some heat in there anyways. only did flux core once never again… it was good because it was outside work but the splatter was insane

    if you have the inside snap rings MOOG 315G or equivalent This looks like what you have but cannot be sure. if you have the external snap ring moog 344 or equivalent - which I think cross references to a volvo 240/740/940 among other vehicles

    Agree with Bondo do some more investigative work before pulling it apart. You can do the poor mans leakdown like he mentions. Post some pics of the plugs and do you see fuel dripping of the venturis at idle?
