    70hp evinrude shifting problem

    forward works great, when trying to go to reverse shifter jumps cannot get in to gear. I can force it in hard, or start motor in reverse it works. It is not in linkage or cables, seems that something is not just right in the foot? Is there a way to adjust on top of the foot under water pump...

    I have a 73 50hp johnson, it has set up a while. Turns over good, NO FIRE to either plugs, where do I look. I do have ignition to the fuse link. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Guys.

    1987 40HP evinrude will not start

    I recently purchased this motor. It would start, but ran terrible, barely ran at all. I replaced the fuel pump. Now it will not start at all. The plugs are fireing and it is getting fuel. It will not hit a lick. Has anybody got any ideas? Thanks alot.
