Hi All:
Here's a small page I threw together for the bimini:
http://www.stevewolverton.net/bimini.html
I hope it helps. I haven't checked for spelling/grammar/gremlins yet, but it should give a good idea of how I built mine.
Steve, GLAD you POPPED by in, all your pic's are goneHi - I sent a response about the bimini page via private messages.
I really need to save all this stuff as a PDF and make it available. That sounds like a good project when I get some free time this summer.
Steve
Steve, GLAD you POPPED by in, all your pic's are goneWhen you get some time can you link them again.
SOLDHi. I let my domain expire, but I do have all the pics saved on a flash drive and my computer at home. I'm away from my apartment as I'm currently building a house.
As soon as I get another hosting site setup, I'll re-link the images.
I've sold the '61, but I have another project. I now have a 1976 Glastron GT-150 that I'm going to pimp out!I split the boat last weekend to install a new floor/transom. I'm taking pics of that project too.
I'm currently restoring my '64 all american and would love to see your pictures. If you get a chance please relink!
STEVE!!! So glad you're back. You gotta fix your pictures (if possible). Your project is so cool that I've wanted to reference it for a number of people during your hiatus but alas, no pics
Welcome back.
Nice boat, Steve. I just bought a '59 myself which needs all this done. I'm just curious - you've mentioned a couple times that you should have removed the deck as a whole - why is that, exactly? It's not clear to me that it would have saved a lot of time, unless I'm missing something...
