Looking good. Can't wait to see the paint scheme, has some potential. I would comment or offer suggestion but I'm seriously color challenged.

You breezed through that paint removal, good job. Maybe I'll start working on mine. Hey I've done a lot of reading and planning.

Actually I built the outboard motor stand from the plans in the Johnson Evinrude forum. I put the old 10 HP Johnny on it, circa 1955. I've done a lot of reading on it. OK I really need to get of my keister and start moving on mine. I may be slower than CBK.

Oh yea I ordered an ignition switch, and downloaded the mercruiser manual. I gonna read it now.

Slow as paint drying lol
got the rest of the z-chromo laid down and the first coat of grey to the bottom...added some white primer to the upper hull{1st coat as well} to help bring out the 'white' in the white paint....been getting a few calls on the Imperial, so I spent the rest of the day piddling around doing some odds & ends on her{drain tubes installed, misc hardware, cleaning etc}....and the majority of the afternoon chasing the dog....he learned he could jump the fence with ease....man what a hand-full he's turning out to be. lol....Actually only chased him three times, the other time was spent just soaking in the rays with a cold one on the deck...life is good

Edit: oh yeah, you guys talked me into not going up with the grey....Thanks owe ya one

That gray and white is a great combo, and I'm one of the "don't bring the gray all the way up" folks too...so I like what you've done with her.

Rustoleum all the way{cheapskate here lol} You can see the 'smoke gray' back up a few posts, beyond all my post padding's ....white will be rusto too....

For a quick 'fix her up nice and go fishing project' I keep drifting off course...can I blame you guy's and your sweet resto's?.....YES!!!

Thanks Jerry, both primers were from spray cans, the bottom paint was rolled, as will be the white...hopefully tomorrow


Edit: Kev I totally forgot that you used rusto as well...great minds drink alike{something like that}
