Some more progress this morn...
Managed to belt sand off the PL and get the transom ready for Spar Varnish this weekend:
I also remembered this time to mark the ribs (although I called them stringers on the side of the gunwale!:
Finally, I was able to get the doublers screwed and glued to the floor pieces. I also cut out the floatation foam where the doublers will sit.
I also gave another quick coat of white paint to the bottom of the boat and lower transom + transom braces just to make it look Purdy!
So... Given my advanced age now... I think that I am at the point of being ready to spar the floor and transom. So, all being well, I will pull the boat out, tarp it and utilize the whole garage this time round to spar everything. 2 coats all around and then install time!
