That seems overly complicated. If you want a battery disconnect for the fuse panel just get a manual one. If you don't want it visible on your dash put the bracket on the back side of the dash with the handle pointed down. Easy to get to and out of sight. I have even seen them at HF.
Here is one from Jegs. Waterproof 100 amp continuous.

What do you Plan on running that you have to worry about drawing anywhere near 100 amps ? I mean, radio, fish finder, odds ends, etc ?
Also whats the resistor for. Just fyi, resistors themselves create a ton of heat which get blistering hot. If you have to use one, make sure you have something very large and metal to attach it to to use as a heat sink. Guys using resistors on jeeps for led lighting buy heat sink paste (typically used in computer applications) to add between the resistor and the metal base/heat sink to create a solid heat transfer. Resistors are parasitic as well.
Lastly how will u transition from the hot on the aux bat to both a lead to the switch and lead to 100 amp solenoid, ( mini bus bar ) ?
Really? All ill be adding is a switch and a solenoid to the circuit. The diagram on the right what boaters usually have.
You do know that you can now make custom cables for the rest of the forum. That's how businesses happen![]()
Well I have to ask Azlo, where did ya get that crimper? I have been kind of looking for one as well and have found one at HF but not sure on the quality of it.
You are doing one heck of a job my friend, keep it up and the end will be here before you know it.
Ok, I thought that looked like the one from HF but was not sure. I did read the reviews on the crimper but was still a little leary on getting it. No I don't really trust the reviews, I want to talk to someone who has actually used something like that before I go and get one. Thanks for letting me know Azlo.
Sometimes sleeping is far better than boat building, eh my friend?
Good news?
You'll win in the end![]()
after this project im gonna take a good vacation.
