Those seats look just like the ones that came out of my glass donor. I didn't have the cash to re uhpolster them - huge bummer as they were super comfortable.

Nah wood yur not that old - I just wanted to give Azlo props for grabbing a sweet NEW outdrive.:)

Haha, ok this reminds me of this old couple fishing when along comes the coast guard. The coast guard asks them "do u guys have life jackets? The Old man turns around and asks his wife what he say? " He said do we have life jackets?" "Yes". Coats Guard= U guys ae not from around here, were u guys from? Old man turns around and asks his wife, "what he say?" Wife= "Were we from?" Old man= "Texas!" Coast guard= "Texas?! OH God all mighty. Ive eaten the worsts, nastiest, foulest fish there!" The old man turns around to his wife, " He says he knows you".:D

Now thats funny.

Woodonglass you all right man.
jasoutside= He says YOU ALL RIGHT!
:)

Happy new Years everybody!!

That leg looks great back there. I did the same and tried to go new on new hoses, etc as I'm sure they are going to pop at the most inopportune time.

Keep on going and we'll see if we can splash the same day :)

I have heard that sometimes when you want to put your boat in the water and your so close and you wait and wait and it just seems like a big tease - that your outdrive turns blue:p - I thought it was all locker room talk - turns out to be true!!

Yeah Sprintst that would suck on splash day. I know there will trouble but best minimise them.

Hosefast in Garland should be able to make those hoses for you. Just take them the old ones to copy. Their prices are good.

Hey dude. I think we have the same windshield. I'd like to order some male windshield snaps but don't have my boat nearby. Just checking to see if the snaps are 3/4 or 7/8.

Let me know if you have time to take a peek as I can't until Sat.

No sweat dude. I took a guess at 3/4" when ordering as I had a couple of pieces I found in a box in the garage. I never got around to test fit the old top anyway but did order some snaps.

So now im working on the seats. I read about painting vynil. I was skeptic at first but have found out that vinyl painting has improoved through the ages. As u can see it makes a diffrence.

So this is how I did it. Gathered my supplies.

REmoved the cushions to access the needed repairs. Needs new velcro for sure.

The vinyl looks to be in good shape. Scrub that old azz off those seats and hit them with the dye. If it's colorfast then I'm sure they will look great.

I had a friend that did his dash and some other interior parts on a car and they looked new to me.
