I am trying to decide if I should restore this boat and also want to verify what it is.
I can't find a Hull number or tag. I'm told it is a 1968 Starmaster 18' hull is oxidized but seems solid.
Transom seems solid but wood is aged and paint peeling. It has a 1982 Evinrude V4 that runs, but needs new fuel tanks.
The wood floor is rotten and covered with disinegrated blue In/Outdoor carpet. I can walk on floor but it is weak.
The front V -hold has a snap flap and it is stuffed with life jackets that smell like rats or cats or?
I can't see under floor. I've never rebuilt a boat, but I've rebuilt auto engines and motorcycles, installed laminate floors and have lots of tools and painting DIY experience.
Just not sure of how much time and money this will involve as I still have a 48 Chevy pickup in pieces in garage and an 82 Honda CB900f that needs attention.
I love these boats though.
What model is it?
Looks cool is it a keeper?
