Okay I am crying uncle on finding 3m 5200 for sealing the screws down on my deck.

Is there something else I could use to accomplish that job?

Did you check Lowe's? They carry it here in Oklahoma. You could also use 5min epoxy.

Yeah our Lowes here doesn't carry it...I did find Stainless Steel Screw though. What is 5min epoxy?

Bass pro shops and academy sports both carry it. Not sure if that helps you.

What is 5min epoxy?

This I am SURE your Lowe's will have in the Glue section.

I have some gellcoat questions:

1. Before gellcoating the deck do I need to scuff the fiberglass if it has been a while since I glassed it?

2. I have about 60 square feet of deck area, how many square feet will a gallon of gelcoat cover?

3. Do I apply 3 coats like paint or is there any prep work between coats?
