So the Admiral, who grew up at the drag strip with her dad (She started racing at 16) and is quite familiar with 4 cycle engines, starts asking questions.....I confessed everything. Shes now aware of the Chief and took it well. She did mention I have a serious problem and should seek professional help for my MBS.
On a lighter note, I did have some time at the shop to strip the 8-track, 2 CB radios, and an antiquated depth recorder out of the Chief.
What raised the Admirals awareness? I see only 10 motors of various types. Was it quantity or the sudden appearance of the 4 stroke IO motor. It does seem out of place with the OBs.Sounds like she hung around with her Dad too much. But that's a good thing. No more sneaking around to play with the mistress - I do mean boat!
Now, did you confess everything? Or just what you got caught out on? :becky:
Seek professional help w/ the MBS, but not for MMS/MOS?

Because from here, it looks like you're stockpiling motors for as of yet unpurchased boats. The problem may run much deeper then the Admiral will admit.
Being familiar w/ drag racing, I suspect you could get away w/ telling the Admiral they are parts motors, just in case. But they appear to be a wide range of years & hp's, so she may be on to that ruse already.......
They usually know what's up, WAY before we think they do, but it's nice that they'll feign surprise occasionally when we fess up.
Good to have the project motor close by I'm sure
It was the appearance of the 4 stroke I/O. Her quote "Why do you have a Chevy engine?"......I didnt tell her about the family members that helped get the Chief.
So you didn't try to tell her it's not a Chevy motor, it's a Mercruiser. Naw - wouldn't work either.
I knida like the "Mustard Yellow", gonna make some obnoxious curtains to highlight it.....and a disco ball.
The motor and trim pump came out with ease also, it was a rare experience for me.
GA, I'm not following? (Whos the SOB?)
