The Federation is getting crowded with StarTreks. Number three to pop up in the past year or so. Beam her home. BN.

$19.95 well spent I figure & sounds like the required standard issue covert SC grabbing mission rations.

My silence is fully guaranteed after the cookies arrive, until then, well.... no promises :D

I'll supply my own milk

Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

Another 60 degree sunny day here in Nebraska. I've been waiting months for this weather to arrive.

I got a little boat work done today. I got the transom pulled out, it will be excellent for a template. I also tore out the rest of the carpet and took the shop vac and cleaned all the styro pieces and other remnants out of the hull. I just need to wash it out now and I'll be ready for Gluvit.

Trimmed up the ends of the gunwales to lift the transom out.

It was pretty dry on the backside, therefore very little corrosion but it was wet where some of the through hull bolts came through.

Nice clean skin.

Transom out and in the garage.

Nice clean hull. I guess you can consider it a blank canvas to let my imagination run wild.

You did get a nice template. And the transom tin is remarkably clean. I'd say that is all 100% original from the factory. Was there any sign of sealant on the through bolts?

I didnt see any sealant of any kind. I agree that it looks 100% factory

I got the hull all washed out. It came out pretty clean. I'll let it dry out for a few days and then get the Gluvit put down. After that I'll get all the inside painting done and start working on the deck and transom.

Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

Today I got the new deck cut out and test fitted. I still have a little trimming to do but it's a good step in the right direction.

Tomorrow I hope to get the new transom glued up.

BN - Are you going to be jumping back and forth and do two at the same time?

New flooring looks good.

New flooring looks good.

It might end up happening that way. After I get the transom glued up for the SS I can work in the star trek untill the glue has dried.

The next step on the SS is put down the gluvit and I'll be ready to flip and prep for paint. I want to have the transom permanantly installed for this step just for a little more stability.
