Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

My garage is a disaster zone. I refinished a loft bed for my son off craigslist so now everything in my heavily populated mess of a garage is completely coated in sanding dust. It's going to be a full weekend project soon to reorganize and clean everything :(

I'm glad I'm not the only one with messy garage syndrome. It must be a boat rebuilder thing

This is to funny and I know its late but with my trailer at a friends for some welding, and cutting mods. My boats upside down with nothing to flip it onto. Guess what I am doing in the morning, yep cleaning the garage. I'am sure those lost beers will be found. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, beer cans to boats.

Got the garage partially cleaned today. I now have 2 big piles, one to haul off for scrap and the other trash to throw out. It's all coming together though.

I got a little done on the boat today. I even got my old teuck sold so theres a little more money in the boat fund.

Got the outdrive pulled off.

Piece of sheet removed from above the motor.

Supports removed.this will make pulling the motor easier.

I also got the motor ready to come out. I also got 90% of the hardware off the transom. A few more hours of work and I should be ready to wash the hull out.

It was a beautiful day today. I think the kiddos were ready to hit the lake, nomatter how they had to get the boat there.

boat is looking good, and glad to see you're indoctrinating future tinheads. by the time they're my age, some of these boats will be ready for another resto or at least a freshening up.

Today I got the motor, gimbal housing, wiring and steering out. The transom is ready to come out as soon as I trim the end of the gunwales. Then I just need to pull out a little carpet and it will be ready for a deep cleaning.

Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

Alright fellas, I have a little problem. I saw an ad on craigslist "18' aluminum boat $450" I was curious and called and he said it was an 18' starcraft open bow outboard. He said he would take $400. I think I would probably do $300. What do ya'll think?
