hi,
i have the main trim piston out i managed to remove the top spanner seal bolt and have the shaft on the bench.
how do i remove the ends on the main piston shaft to replace the small top shaft seal???
a photo, i know my explanation might sound confusing.
the seal i need to replace is sort of dangling in the middle of the shaft.

surely someone recognizes this main cylinder piston for a trim unit. I cant be the first,
it is an 85' after all, do i have a unique one???

Keep the assembly in the vice, see picture...top piece are a special bolt, you might be able to use the same tools as used when you removed the whole assembly.
BEWARE !! steel balls and springs under the "bolt", not any hight tension but beware .
