Hey Glen,

Looking really sharp! I really like the double hinge idea giving you options for access! Nice work.

I've been thinking about my dog house build since I brought home the big girl. You are giving me ideas, thanks!

Glen,
Three quick questions:
Where did you get your vinyl?
What is the actual color name?
and
Any Idea what size/ angle the bow plate is and where I might be able to get one? Mine was in pieces, looks like the previouse giuy ran it into something and it is hard to tell what the size is. It is stamped 12-82-SS. Not sure what the numbers mean.

Hey Mike
Which vinyl the floor or the upholstery? The floor vinyl is from outdoorfabricscanada.com I believe it is made by nautelex and branded Seway dark blue here in Canada.
The upholstery vinyl is from Perfectfit .com and is Enduratex Windsong 2 Cayman blue and Fog
If you are refering to the aluminum bow cap I'm not sure where you would find one of those, I could take some measurement off mine if you would like.

Thanks Glen. I was refering to the blue upholstery. The Admiral is going insane because you have the exact seats and color blue we want. Is you vinyl an exact match to the blue on the seats?

And yes, if you could measure the side length back length and if possible the angle of your bow plate that would be awesome!! .

Thanks again.

Hey Mike, ya the blue vinyl is a dead ringer for the blue on the Cabelas seats. I will try to get the measurements for you in the next couple days.

Well barring any unforseen work issues and I can make it till Friday afternoon till I call forward my work phone, the flotation foam goes in this weekend.

Look forward to seeing the spray foam in process. Hope the plan 'works' to get away from work for a bit..

Spray foam is in. Very easy product to work with, just get it to the right temperature then suit up and spray it in. I really under estimated the cubic feet needed, so much for my math skills. The first pic is heating up the containers.

Actually I like how it turned out. The foam gave me 16.6 cubic feet of flotation the blue foam I already have in the hulle is another 8 cubic and the foam I sprayed in has given me an almost level surface to finish filling up under the deck with blue foam. Which should give me a total of approximatley 36 to 40 cubic feet of flotation x 60lb each = 2280lbs There is no way this girl will sink.
