I picked some up at Canadian tire, but had to go to two of them to find it. If your not in a real big hurry check out Pride Marine they have good prices and quick turn around. Only suggested them because we can't buy glues and chemicals from State side.

Hi Glen this is the Sylvan myself and my son rebuilt, couldn't figure out how to link it to my current restore.

Looks real nice Bud.
Thanks for the idea for the aluminum checker plate on the trailer step areas. After I got thinking about them I remembered I had to change two of the aluminum storage boxes on the picker truck and I stuck them under an old motorhome, they are now being recycled into checkerplate steps. Pics to come.

Hey Bud, If you can find it Mar-hyde Aircraft stipper works awsome, Acklands and Auto parts Plus used to carry it it has been discontinued, but they may have old stock. Once it loosens the paint use a plastic scaper to remove the flat areas and a stiff brush for around the rivets (not wire brush).

Glen, Do you use the same type of seats and pedestals in all of your restorations. I want to order four seats and pedestals, but there are so many different types and heights of pedestals. Is there one that works best for a ss160 with stock consoles. Thanks, Brian

Hey Jb, it is called Baltic Birch exterior ply, here is a link to the description. Thomes Canada - Baltic Birch Plywood

Hey Brian, thanks for stopping by. I have been useing these in all the boats, for driver and passenger Explorer 9" Fixed Height Pedestal Set - Springfield Marine 1250309 - iboats I have found even with these at 9"they are a little high so depending on the boat I cut 2 to 3 inches off so you are not looking through the top bar on the windshield. I have used these for the bow deck and other positions in the boat Hi-Lo KingPin 3/4 3-Piece Package - Springfield 1615431 - iboats. As far as seats go it is pretty much personal taste and how much you want to spend, Iboats has a great selection and good shipping rates for you guys down south, not so much for us up here.

Hey Bud, ya the less scratchs you put in the easier it is to polish.

Re: 1986 ss 201

Progress over the last week, I'm working on a hybrid bunk system using the old wobbler roller brackets. Expecting an order next week with some self centering keel rollers and 60"guide-ons, as well as the remaining lights and I should be able to wrap it up.

Looks great, well done. The hybrid bunks are interesting, will you use 'bunk' carpet to wrap the 2X4's? I have a galv roller trailer that I'd planned to convert to bunks.....

Very nice, Glen. The diamond plate and wheels add just enough bling. The four fenders really do show off nice. Hybrid roller bunks - Don't forget to send that idea to the CA patent office. Gotta protect yourself from those patent trolls.

Wow does that look great, very unique idea with the bunks, that's probably a $5000.00 trailer

Looks great Glen. I was thinking about painting my trailer dark blue, but I'm not sure now. The light blue sure does look sharp. Brian
