Been working on the Dodge project, I think I have it to the point I can leave it for a couple weeks till help arrives, and get back to work on the SS.
Heres a couple pictures of the Dodge. The owner does a lot of back woods camping and this is what he wants, the chassis had a Bandit motorcoach on it that was garbage just the coach weighed 12000lb. The trailer we put on only weighs 4500 with the axels and extra stuff stripped. The bottom area is going to be filled in with aluminum sotrage boxes to blend everything together.

Cool man! Lot's of coordination to make the old and the new line up.... but I can see what you are saying that it will need some alum storage boxes to tie it all together. It's almost high enough to slip a jet or falcon underneth at the back !!!!!

Hey guys thanks for stopping by, I think it just looks high because it is so open underneath. It measures 11'10"at the the top of the AC which is the same as the old coach, but 5500lbs lighter. It will definatly be a one of a kind on the road, I can hardly wait till he has to take the trailer coach in for waranty work I'm sure the dealer is going to scratch his head.

Finally making some progress. Been thinking and thinking and thinking about the seating and storage beside the dog house. Thanks to Grandad for some ideas to make the Admirals life a ittle easier. The photos will show what's happening.

I will probably install a battery behind each of the seat boxes, but I might have to check with Jason first, He He He! I am going to make a split cushion, kinda like stadium ones with a vinyl hinge in the center between the seat and back, these will just snap in so they can be removed. I am going to cover the seat boxes with the floor vinyl so we can step on them to sit on the DH for fishing. I am still working on the design for the fold up curtain for around the Porto-Potti, more on that as it unfolds.

Nice work man! I like the "loo" in the boat idea! No doubt the admiral will appreciate a "tent"... the other than's GA's suggestion of the "TP" holder perhaps a stocked magazine holder would be a nice touch!

this is as small a font as I could find, but has anyone else noticed the difference in the pricing of a hair cut. My last 82+/- have all been about $10. The Admirals, well, no, not so much

Okay guys do you honestly think there is comprimise when it comes to boat stuff with the Admiral, and hair cuts I do my own!! it cost me $25.00 a year for a new set of clippers.LOL

Well after being away for 4 days, I came home to a nice big box of boat stuff gotta love it. Pedistals, blowers and hose.

Now if any of you perceptive guys were looking close the parts are sitting on a really cool product!!!

This is a sandwich of painted aluminum on either side with a solid plastic core, it can be bent in a brake, sheared, cut with a jig saw, riveted and welded. The piece I have left is from closing the back of the cab in on the Dodge M/H project, I can see this stuff having a home in our boats.

Got to ask for some advice, the plastic dash panel on the SS was a real pale yucky blue. I had to remove it, which was a real pain in the @##$%, I tried stripper ( softend the plastic) sand blasting, not so good, so I sanded and scraped it. The plastic underneath is black. The gauges that were in the boat were black faced, so they are getting replaced with these, or something similar.

Here is a photo of the cleaned up dash.

Because it has a textured surface I want to go with this Rustoleum product, good for plastic and many other surfaces and has a real nice finish.

I am going to be putting1/4"teak in the faces of the dash where the gauges go and my intial thoughts were to use the silver hammered finish but I'm throwing around the idea of black, What do you all think?
