Re: 1989 Four Winns 200 Horizon Restoration

@ EZ, I do have an Ipod, whats your advice?

Cool. Ok, I recently installed a Sony head unit in my Honda that has the "Tune Dock" feature. You put the ipod IN the stereo. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread and I have literally been waiting for years for them to invent something like that. I was then thinking, hey this would be great in a boat cuz it would allow for storage and protection of the ipod at the same time. Well Blammo, I see on the back of a recent overton's catalog http://www.overtons.com/modperl/pro..._AM/FM/Satellite/iPod_Docking_Marine_Receiver :D Now if you also listen to CDs (I haven't in years) it's not a good option because the CD player is omitted with the Tune Dock design.

I bought a 4lb tub of 1/4" fibers..... I have about a pound or so left over..... you don't need a lot of the fibers in the PB.... I think we used like 1/4 cup in a quart of resin....too much makes it stringy and hard to work with. It will take some trial and error to get your mix right for you. ;)

Another trip to the truck, to cut an 8"X~50" piece of green board. Ohh did I mention that they forgot to order the tiles!! But they will have them next week around Wednesday.
If that would be my house and not a rental, I would just kick them out. There is more chatting between him and his wife then working. I am so sick and tiered about these unprofessional professionals. Dose that make sense?
Sorry I just have to vent.

Good morning iBoaters,
I am looking for any kind of information about the engine control Ultradflex B184 Single Lever w/trim. Is it any good or should I look for something else?

Alright, I place my orders for the Uflex N184, a through hull transducer from Humminbird, and some switches and dual battery wiring set from EzAcDc.
Still waiting on the quote for the glass. Talking about the glass, are 4 pounds of cabosil and chopped fibers enough?

That's plenty on the fibers, you MIGHT need more Cabosil but that will for sure be enuf to get you well into the project. You will use about a 1/4 of a cup of fibers per 12-16 oz of resin. HINT: Always mix the resin and catalyst first then mix the cab and fibers in when you're making Peanut Butter.

Re: 1989 Four Winns 200 Horizon Restoration

Thanks guys.
My mind is racing back and forth about my cut in the hull. I still didn't figured out how deep I have to sand the glass down. Can I fill part of it with PB? I take some pic's tomorrow morning with a ruler next to it, so you guys can see clearly where the hull raises up and becomes "solid"
