So I just got this ski a couple weeks ago and been going through it and checking the usual things. Fuel system ect. Finally felt good enough about things to fire it up and I feel like im getting an excessive amount of oil coming out of the back/exhaust. Granted its mostly just been idling with a few throttle blips hear or there but the plugs seem very wet and the front cylinder seemed to get alot hotter than the others so I stopped running it. Can someone tell me if this photo looks like a ridiculous amount of oil please? Starts up perfectly and idles fine.

I suggest you google about SL780 front cyl running hot ......quite a bit of info there. Nothing that cant be sorted but you need to know.
As for the oil .....might depend on the brand ,and the possibility that someone has fiddled with the oiling in a misguided attempt to stop that front cylinder seizing due to lean burn issues ( read the google ) . I used to use castrol TTS @ 50:1 in my Kawasaki KDX250 and it dribbled black unburnt oil out of the muffler but fuel from the same can ran clean and dry in my chainsaws. I decided to be happy that the Kwaka was obviously getting plenty of oil and tried to forget about it .

Well from what I've been seeing the front cylinder runs hot on the hose. Took it to water today and it wasn't as hot so I think thats all set. Now im wondering if this is a good burn on my plugs or if its to lean.

I would say a tad lean but its hard to tell from pix . They need to be a light tan (peanut butter ) colour and you need to look right up inside where the insulator contacts the metal body of the plug. . Does it still have the standard air box/filter ? After market performance filter assemblies usually require a bigger main jet because they are less restrictive.
