If you are buying the materials I think we can help you out
We get to pick the color though![]()
Yes, of course, I will pay for all materials. Afterall, it's my boat.
As for picking the color, that would be fine with me. I haven't had my heart set on any combination at all other than thinking restoring to the same period colors but much better shades.
How about everyone picks the colors, even the color of the trailor and motor.
Oh, and its a '67 18ft Holiday in that fine shade of Avacado they used powered by a 1975 115 Johnson.
i would gladly fly out to minnesota for a week to do that!
When I figure out how to upload pic I'll show all of you what my wife call my "lost cause"
dude..You have to come here first!![]()
I live pretty close to Lake Anna and was thinking about coming up to check out the boats when you have Tinstock. I do not have a Starcraft but I am hoping to purchase an old small V-hull for my next project. In VA we mostly have jon boats and bass boats. The small mil finish tin boats are less available here. Everything I've seen for sale has been painted camo for duck hunting. I was wondering if there will be vendors of parts, small motors, etc. ?
Is anyone bringing a huge trailer loaded with 60's era tin boats for sale (Fantasizing)? Is there going to be a "show" or is it an owners only get together. I promise I've read most of the restoration threads about these boats.
Just wondering? What do you think of the idea for us to bring leftover stuff from our restorations to share/trade? I know most of us will have completed the work. I have a bunch of bigger pop rivets and an unused can of zinc primer.
