I noticed the mauling the flowers got during the recent Falcon flip, IM, but didn't want to mention it. Don't want the Starmada mob calling a man card recall vote. :watermelon:

I think the heavy demerit is based on how badly the wreath clashes w/ the rest of the decor, not the fact that it's a wreath, hanging in a man cave/boat building den.......................................:laugh:

And I did add the caveat there at the end:

A random smattering of thoughts, not for use in actual voting decisions............

Oh I noticed. Just didn't mention it It used to be above the Starcraft logos I mentioned in the double +2 count

At least they are cool toddler toys, a jack hammer sawzall and electric guitar, and a dumptruck

It was playing on the radio...i swear! :lol:

dude! toddler toys in the craft is bonus points by my scorecard! restoration while babysitting...and not ending-up in the doghouse!

now using the Admiral's favorite measuring cup to mix epoxy...major deduction!! :mad-new:

Carp I forgot about the measuring cup incident but believe me the admiral has more than been repaid for that one.

Not sure how I missed all this, and had NO idea that there even was such and award on here. Oh well, little slow I guess :sleeping: Does water splashing on the transom while testing the motor with earmuffs count as "getting wet" LOL Maybe next year (I guess actually THIS year) I'll officially get finished and slice some lake water and maybe just maybe I'll be worthy of a nomination. I kept wondering why so many kept asking when the splash was :facepalm: It's not too late to vote for 2013 winner is it? I'm going to check the three voting post out right now. :bolt:

Yeah, a sorry, it's actually the Starcraft Splash of the Year award :facepalm: But you've got 11 & 1/2 months to find, buy, rehab & splash an SC if you want. That's all it takes. But for this particular award, gotta be an SC

I'd be up for a brand we've got in common splash of the year. But w/ only 1 or 2 boats now in contention, and even fewer in years past, it wouldn't quite be the same.

Yea, I said I was a little slow, I just noticed they were all StarCrafts. Always a bridesmaid never a bride :grumpy: I did vote though. I guess that explains why I missed the thread too. Not sure I'll be hunting down a StarCraft to build this year. I know they are excellent boats and would love to do a Islander one day, but I have to do the finishing touches on my DuraCraft and then it's on to my sons McKenzie, along with a few other NON boat projects that are in the works this year, I Don't see me adding an Islander splash this year, maybe a purchase, but for sure not a splash.

I just opened Iboats up to get pictures of my boat for Craigslist, lol. I'm keeping it now!!! I am picking up another tin can 16ft soon for another fun project. What to do this time?!?!?

I have better pictures of out on Lake Erie, but they are on another old phone somewhere.
