gddavid its all good I have adhd so I have a bad habit of jumping from one subject to the next sorry . Guys asking a 1000 for that old trojan thinking of going to maybe look at it an see if it's a solid boat or not but need to be able to haul it if I get it

The cracking on the dash is from a black material that Wellcraft used on the Sportsman model, the heat from the sun is what cracked the gel. The cracking around the window frames is from the screw holes not being countersunk. The window frames are fastened with screws, you'll have to take the weather stripping out to access them.
The windows are hinged together and you must remove the side windows first.

How do I get the cap loose from the hull at the transom area should I just cut it since I'm redoing the cap area there an closing it in . Also @secondchance248 what's best way to lift cap to slide 4x4 post threw to pick it up
I'm unable to offer advice on your transom, mine is a I/O

A chain fall with a framing system under the walk around deck is how I reinstalled the cap prior to tabbing stringers, as mentioned in my thread, 8 decent sized guys were able to lift enough to slide the 4x4 under but the deck was much heavier than expected.

Again thanks I looked but I couldn't tell what size posts you had used an didn't see it listed . Once I get my posts in ground an bow cleat undone an cut around the transom an I should be able to pick it up

Beginning to wonder what in the hell was thinking on this boat seems like every piece of wood in it is rotten . An what do I do about all these cracks
