Maybe this product line with red trim. The configuration would be different. I would probably get the captains chair and use couches and corners for the rest. Please keep the opinions coming. Like it or hate it, I'd like to know what people think.

Thanks Arch. I am going to request color samples from veada. I had looked at them before but not for pontoon seating. Unlike the others veada allows you to choose the color of all the panels. I could go with colors that will maintain the vintage feel of the boat and still have the updated seating. I'm still a little hesitant because a big part of the charm of this boat is the vintage upholstery in the cabin. What to do, what to do.

That would be great if you could the sizes you need. Every thing I looked at just didn't quite fit would be off 2-3 inches.

Good Luck Hope you find some to fit

They have one seat that would work. My seating area is 68" wide. They have a 34" wide bench with an armrest on one end. I could order 2 (one left one right) and gang them together to make a bench. It would be a perfect fit for a rear bench. Then I could use two helm chairs for the front. It would be a pretty standard layout by today's standards. Total would be $1498 including 2 adjustable height swivel pedestals. I don't think I can build frames and have them covered for that.

How in the heck did I miss this thread. Cool boat man. I am in the Dallas area too, what lake do you visit? We are on Lewisville.

Thanks Frisco. I checked out your threads a while back. Even watched some of your YouTube stuff. You do great work. We usually boat on Lavon. We may hit the Thursday night concert on the lake at Hubbard a couple of times this summer. Might even make it up to you neck of the woods one weekend this summer. If you ever want to come out to Lavon give me a shout. We are there almost every Sunday. With 190 It's not a bad drive at all.

EDIT: you might want to check your sig. Both links go to the Sea Ray thread.

Ordered the Pontoon seats today. They should be here in about 3 weeks. Thanks for the link to Veada Bobby. I went with the ones pictured in post #105. I also ordered their pneumatic adjustable height swiveling slider pedestals for the helm seats. We chose a dark brown vinyl with burnt orange and tan accents. The burnt orange matches the cabin seats pretty closely. I also opted for the stainless cup holders to match the stainless gauges. Hopefully the colors keep the 70s feel of the boat. Total was a shade over $1500. No way I could build custom seats and have them covered for that.

I'm no photoshop guru but this will give you the idea.

Cool! I spent a $1K on just having mine covered! Sounds like a great deal, looking forward to seeing them in!

LOL. Everyone has been saying that. I have a bimini coming as well. Hopefully that will keep the seats a little cooler.

Take those warnings seriously. I have a little blue and purple accents on my seats and if the sun hits them right that alone can burn skin:

Re: 25' 1976 Sleek Craft Ambassador Project

I hear ya QC. We boated with a guy who had a very similar brown interior all summer last year. His was warmer than others but was never a big issue. It won't take us long to figure out how to manage it. We really wanted colors that kept the 70s feel of the boat. Hopefully we succeeded.

I splurged a little and got the stainless cup holders instead of plastic. I also got the pneumatic adjustable height swivel pedestals with sliders. I'll be able to put the seat where ever the hell I want it. LOL.

Rad. This boat is rad. The seats look good too. Makes me want to throw on some short shorts and grow a Burt Reynolds moustache. Keep up the good work!

I know where I want you to put them. In the boat for a pic. What did you think I was going to say? How is the rebel engine coming?

Those colors look outstanding! I had seats made last summer and went with white and that was a mistake. Did you use custom colors or colors off of their charts? Would love to see how 2 piece fits together in front of motor.
