Fuel separator is now mounted up high under the rear deck. I also ran some fuel line I bought and it looks like it will route with no kinks. I've got some clips to secure it to the transom.

I'll need to get the tank cleaned up and ready.

Seems I only work on it when it's really cold or there is lousy weather :)

I'm guessing my interior will be done in the next couple of weeks. I'll get the joy of bolting it in with freezing hands.

Yeah, so am I... what we've seen so far looks awesome Sprinter! :D

Hope the weather doesn't get too awful on you - but, living where you live, I somehow guess it's going to get FREEZING! :p

Dropped the boat off the other day to have the guys at Recreational Power Sports and Marine here in Edmonton check her over. They replaced the oil drain hose with a new one and ran her up and fogged her. They drained the block and added the rv coolant, etc.

I bought another group 27 Attwood battery box and the whole thing with labour was $148.

I'm really impressed with the marine shop as they are all certified, prompt, and go over and above all the time.

PS -20 C and a foot of snow here :)

Just placed what I hope is the last of the odds and ends. I bought off of IBoats to support the web site :)

Anti-Siphon Valve, 3/8" Barb, 3/8 NPT - Moeller

Replacement Gasket & Screws for Sending Units - Moeller

6"-12" Electric Sending Unit - Moeller

It seems there are a lot of posts on buggered up siphon valves so I though I would replace that too :)

Thanks man.

Your boat looks great. It's nice to see one that has been looked after from day one. You don't see many originals that are still in as good shape as yours. It's also cool to see a boat stay in the family and serve a second or third generation.

You did all the right things as well...with any luck we should be able to just turn the key and go and start enjoying them again.

Some of the parts are in. The only thing original in the end will probably be the hull :) My wall of shame of new parts/paint, etc in the basement. New group 27 battery box when I add the second battery in the spring.

I'll probably take the tank in the house over the Christmas break and get it ready as well. Too many issues with anti siphon valves so I replaced it with this one with better barbs as well.

Ps The first pic is of my wife's version of a mcmuffin. I could get to 300 lbs if I wanted to as she is a pretty good cook. :)

I am so hungry now after seeing that Canadien Egg and Ham muffin...even hungrier as I type. I would put on a few lbs too with that on the menu.

The rig is going to have some sweet tunes and lots of fish on the finder too:D

Not too loud when you're bobber fishing now eh?:D Lots of goodies to work on over the winter there. I've got two 6.5" marine speakers and contemplating two more for good measure.:)

Thanks for the thumbs up on the mcmuffin guys. I'll make sure to pass on the compliments as she'll get a kick out of it. It was spectacular by the way. The bacon kept the egg in perfect form inside of a muffin pan.

I'll get all that stuff in there yet. Once the upholstery is in I can get the basement emptied. The Polk speakers weren't all that expensive as you can find them for the same price as some of the no name stuff...marine rated salt fog tests, etc.

I'll let the gang know how the 788ci works as I'll be reading the manual over the winter so I'll know what I'm doing when I go to use it.
