The trailer looks like a pro did it. :D

I like the pin strips on the tralier, it just sets it off IMO.
What ever color scheme you use it will give it the finishing touch.

And this is why I was hesitant to doing the stripes.....

Hard to see in here, but it aint perfect....so all I see is the bad parts....

Keep in mind I used tape and just painted between the pieces, not true pin stripes...I dont have that steady of a hand, nor the right kind of brush....

It doesn't look that bad, maybe use a blue chalk line to keep the tape straight. I'm sure some of the experienced pin stripe guys will chime in..

I was able to fix it with a blue shop towel and some acetone.

Second side is drying. Going to leave the tape on for longer than the first side.

Second side looks geat. Too dark for pictures. Now do I want to add red tomorrow?

No. I like just the yellow you have on now.

I am sure that whatever you decide it is going to look awesome, but looking at the pics right now, I like the elegant simplicity of the single yellow stripe...really sets the trailer off, but then again, I am a sucker for colors, so more stripes would look good, too...;)

Hahaha, lot of help there, ay?

I too like the look of the single line.

I've done nothing with the fenders however.

Any thoughts there?

Believe it or not, I was thinking the same thing when I was first looking at the pics and had a wild and crazy thought...

On the surface tops of the fenders, I was thinking something like the Old School Lead Sled Pinstriping...

The Car!...

In Yellow, of course...

Good Day Gentlemen, I'm psyched about this, first off dibs to you Trooper82 I wholeheartedly agree with everyone, "fantastic job you are doing". I've got myself a restore project in my garage, I've got the tank out and am looking over the situation to see the project I'm in store for and I've got myself a trooper82 restore to go. I've read your whole thread starting last night got up early and finished it today and am glad to have this site as many of you are. I'll be uploading some pictures of my tri-haul and any advice will be greatly appreciated. Have a good day folks.

Thanks Berg, I'm honored....really. I am just like many folks on here. Started a search on the 'net looking for advice on where to start. Having never done anything like this I needed a place to begin. The iBoats Dry dock is the best place I could have ended up, by far, in my opinion. Great goup of fellow boaters willing to lend experience and a watchful eye. Learn, have fun, be safe. Not necessarily in that order :)

If you have read my thread, you know that I am having a blast working on this project. It gets tough at times, not having somewhere indoors to work. Not always having the right tools for the job, but I have lived my life knowing there is always a way to overcome such obstacles. other iBoaters will keep you on track too, when times get tough.

Being safe, not just for yourself, but being considrate of others around you is very important in my book, as well as the rest of the iBoats folks. I won't get into specifics here, but the sticky's have info on safety.

There is way more information to learn in these forums than anyone could possibly do in a lifetime. I have found the search function to be most helpful. There is even a search by thread feature that helps alot.

Again Welcome to the Dry Dock. I look forward to following your thread.

Pictures of side 2.

Good thing I have the trailer weatherproof. Took this in the beginning of a 2 day storm that is being predicted for us.

I think the stripes turned out great, considering I spent a whole 5 minutes eyeballing the tape.
