They also came with the 4 cylinder, as did mine. I never had a problem with it being underpowered and I like the fuel economy.

Just for the sake of knowing... they came in Merc 470 , 485, 198, 228, 260, OMC 170, 185, 200, 230, 250, 260....

Sorry I didn't clarifi I was refering to "they" are 1982 -1983 26 footers. Is yours a 26 footer Alainc? It would be interesting if it were as it would be an non advertised powering.
