wow...that was funny! You don't need the cloth or woven. The mat is what makes the seal, if thats all you are wanting to do. Use the cloth or woven for it to be strong. This goes to your earlier post...I wonder why we need drain holes if the new glass job is water tight and has no voids for water to get in??? I just assumed I will be putting in drains but I have been thinking about this a lot. Hell FW's drains on my liberator were half way up the stringer. I guess I feel that if you have drain holes (other than the two in the bulkheads) you will be allowing water to get in. In my case I will have the stringers and bulks suspended off the hull like FW didso water will have a path just like before. I may still fill under them with foam. I don't know!
