lol,,, uhh skipper:eek::facepalm: lol,

sweet to get her outa hock, lol. lots of things to do yet but surely makin some headway.

i am pickin up the canvas again:facepalm: tomorrow on the way home from work, hopefully i will be able to get it on without further issues.

i stopped by the party store(west marine) and picked up one of those adapters so i can plug my shore power into an extension cord to the house, so i can put the cold ones in the fridge (for easy acsess :D) i will need it anyways for wintering at home next year, but wow them things are a whole lot of cheesburgers.

almost forgot the postman stopped by today and dropped off some toys
4wireandjumpersled001.jpg

30 ft of 4 wire and a bunch of jumpers to neaten up the install. no lights yet, but i should get them monday

not sure how many of you guys bought the 4 wire but i noticed that the black wire is on a different side on the jumpers than it is on the 4wire,,lol ,,, not sure about the lights tho, i allready gave my non waterproof ones to papa and i cant remember the order of the wires,, quirky tho,,, remember duh green to green:eek: lol

I didn't get the connectors because it would have been to big under the trim. But the color code is wierd that they are backwards, but they are just connectors so color code won't make a difference other than remembering there backwards when installed on the other end. Its just a splice.

agreed, just weird,
no issues, just quirky. black is just reversed.
papa wanted a bunch of those jumers as well, so we will split them.less soldering on the lightstrip will be welcomed. he will opt for telephone line instead of the 4wire for the cloud room project. i thought about following suit but imo the 4 wire will lay flatter and keep it more murphy proof(i need murphy proof lol). it will make it a lil easier to find issues later anyway.

wish me some luck on the campertop tomorrow..

I might steal your idea with the hatch in the engine compartment lid. The boats are twins anyways....may as well keep everything the same! lol
Seriously tho, I like that idea....much easier than lifting that heavy lid. I bet mine weighs 50lbs or more...
I was considering some type of hydraulic lifts for the engine comp. lid....does yours have any?
Linear actuators would be cools too, much more expensive tho.

Did you have to extend your battery cables much or was that where the MBSS was located?

Lookin great lil' buggy!

thanks for the compliments i feed off them,:D
twins(bal,,,inker)lol,
and steal away man,,,lol. i didn't move the mbss at all. i really wanted it near the shorepower hookup, side gunwhale but after seeing all the big dog wires i had to move and extend, with the hatch open, it kinda just came to us. lol, the loacation of the mbss made it a no brainer, i was nervous however with the smaller size of the deckplate but it worked out nicely. i am pleased with the end result. when i finally snap carpet that all in back there it should dissapear into the black carpet.

my lid is also really heavy and has no shocks or hydrolics to help. i am a lil scarred of the elec lifts cause if your battery dies you need a source of power to open them up.

i hope it helps

Only problem I see with the deck plate access is when that spider is waiting for your hand when you go to turn the batteries off and on!:D

Hopefully it'd only be a fairly common Three Rivers barking spider:D

Still extremely hazardous, but the effects are not exceptionally long lasting

Re: 89 Fiesta Vee 250 setbacks, projects, and upgrades!

i got the hull, below the rub rail clean today using the super secret mixture lol.
i still need to get in between the keel bunks a lil better but all that you see is clean.
i have some work to do,,,, quite a few scratches on the side from dock rash some deep but not clean thru to the fiberglass and a couple spots that had something there:confused: or dunnoy maybe a fix, same spot both sides
as well as the red stripe is all oxidated.

not sure how i am gonna handle these issues yet. i'll be posting pics tomorrow am and askin for some advice on how to handle them.

also have the cockpit, and the greasy aftermath to address everywhere on the seats as well as the fiberglass

thanks in advance for the help
i hope everyone had a good day
