Your Coastal underwater lights in that video are cool. In fact, all of your lights are sweet looking! I can't wait to get mine installed!

I know what you mean about that dirt getting in the little vinyl veins. It can be nearly impossible to get that out. I've tried everything! About the only thing I've found that works is a bit of Simple Green, a scrub brush and lots of elbow grease.

OOOOOOOOOO, that would be sweet, running it under a bridge while changing out the light colors!!!! It's almost better than standing on on a garage roof for pictures!!!!

Bahahaha^^^^^ You don't have to stand on the roof, you can also stand on the top of the Dahl House II :) Lets see who can get to the bridge first, lol :)

Looking good Little Buggy! Think you need some leds on that swim ladder on a seperate switch so when its dropped in the water at night it will light up! :D Seriously looks great, I want to see the orange and blue together.

Had a great weekend here and pics will follow. Also got some video of the seahawk running. Will post up later. One thing you forgot to post little buggy,

BSnB, almost,,,,bahahaha

chriscraft,,, thanks, not sure you would see the rgbs in the water with the coastals on,,,,,, but i think i may put some under the stern rail in a u channel with end caps(so it only shines down and not directly visible by any boat), on a seperate switch, so i can turn em on to light the stern up while swimming in the blue bahama water:D

if i am thinking correctly,, if i run a connecter to the exsisting wires to the perspective new ones i should only have to put a switch on the black wire between the sets to shut that new section down,,,,, sound right? ,,,,,,,,,,, given that the back rail will be the last one in the run,,,, whadyatink?

and yep i did forget

my hats off to you. and god bless the fallen ones.
and i'll get a orange n blue pic thurs nite;)

Re: 89 Fiesta Vee 250 setbacks, projects, and upgrades!

so i started out with the clear molding,,,,, Lshaped
rgbLtrim003.jpg

rgbLtrim004.jpg

i chose the ones with no sticky tape on the inside,,,anyway to make them white to match the glass and vinyl i just ruffed the "inside of the L"(note; that allows it to appear shiny once finished) then sprayed krylon for plastics with a rattlecan on the inside of the L.
i waited 1 hour and sprayed it again(carefull not to overspray the taped outside) then let it dry overnight. i held it up to a bright light and could still see thru it so i sprayed another 2 coats of white,,,,
rgbLtrim005.jpg

i still could see hotspots thru the paint so i then added grey primer to the inside
rgbLtrim007.jpg

and voilla, the lights dont shine thru any more
rgbLtrim008.jpg

and it is really shiny matching white

Those lights look great!
Also, great idea with the L corner stuff! Makes the light "glow".

Yeah,I hated to tell you after all that work, lol. But if you matched the color to the gel it is probably all worth it, so rest easy my friend, you did well. :)

They make a black, white, and clear, I have never seen the black but I think lowes carries the white. The clear is for colored or wall papered walls, the white is for white walls.;)

Not sure about gray. Monkey fur, I used to have me some of that, still up in the air on what I'm putting back in.

Re: 89 Fiesta Vee 250 setbacks, projects, and upgrades!

no worries man,
and thanks,
it wasnt a lot of work to paint em up. i remember your teardown well,,,,
i been looking a lil for your solution,,,, and mine as well. my raftin bud has some sweet grey vinyl in his cabin,,(looks like a lexus in there:D). anyway his doesnt have all the complex angles and underlips that both of ours have. honestly, i dont mind my monkeyfur, lol, but it also isn't stained at all, so mine will stay for now, however i think i'll have to use velcro on it to attatch the rgb's down there. not sure yet of the placement so thats why i been putting the install off for now,,,lol.
