Thanks Mark! I am on the mend now. Had a little snafu with the hip. I had surgery and was in the recovery room and they took a post op xray, and the techs jaw dropped. I was still pretty groggy, but i remember thinking "Houston we have a problem"! They told me I would be going back in for round 2. The hip had dislocated because the socket moved. Later I saw the xray and the ball was like not even close to the socket. Round 2 went much better he glued and screwed it we should be good to go. They say this is rare but it does happen! My Dr. and team at the hospital are awesome. This was hardest on them and I appreciate them being there for me. :thumb:

Did a little stuff today sand, prime, sand, prime. That rusto primer has a lot of filler in it. I'm new to this so i'm trying to figure it out as I go.

Wow looking at the primer this morning it definitely needs more coats. Very spotty. Looks like a zebra.

Really glad to see you're able to get up and at em'. :clap2:

Are you thinning the Primer? If so, don't thin it to much. You want to try and get to fairly heavy coats down.

Thanks wood! Feels awesome to be getting back on the boat. I did thin the rusto about 10% with the reducer. Sprayed a pint let it dry for an hour or so little sanded. And sprayed the second coat. I know the weather was completely bad 90 degrees super hi humidity, but I was going to spray some primer no matter what.

Need some help! I want to paint the motor Navy Blue and to get there with majic paint I will have to mix. So my question is this, do I buy ford blue and black as the two parts? Then play with mixture? Any input is appreciated! :fish2:
