The name of our first boat was "My Room". My husband was terrrible to me for five years hoping I would do what I did to the kids and send him to his ROOM! Hahahahah! He is a sweetie, and we both spent so much time on the boat we had to sell everything and go bigger! Hope to meet all you folks soon. I'll watch the posts of your gathering if anyone has time to post that is.

So just in case anybody was wondering???

I'm seriously planning on at least coming down to visit for the day, but seeing how things work out in this life thing there's no telling. I got roped into performing at a friends birthday without realizing it was the same time as St Augustine. I didn't figure it out until the day before. (and then it rained all over the party and I didn't play anyway) Still bummed I missed it!

I almost did the same this time too, when I drunkenly agreed to do a multi-track recording of a benefit concert at the New Smynra fish and ski club the weekend before this get together. When will I learn about committing to this while under the influence?

Doubt I'll be bringing the boat though (people are not joking when they say a cap job includes LOTS of sanding. When will it end?? oh whatever looks great so far...) we'll probably be more into the tiki bar anyway.

I'm really looking forward to it.

We'll be there with 3 (Michael, Stick, and myself). We are going to bring a goodie box (re: 120 qt Igloo) filled with "beverages" and quite possibly even some food. Hopefully we'll also bring along a smoker and going to be dragging a couple of Jet Fleas behind us, so we can all go terrorizing the island. I just have to remember the fishing poles and net...unless that gives us the opportunity to schedule a 3rd get-together

Not interested in bein' on me own!!! I plan on bein' among Family/Friends.

Three hour tour sounds great. I'm just glad it's "AMUSEMENT", and not "SS MINNOW". Is there a hard time or approximate time for this reservation?

I'll have life jackets for my family. I've got an extra toddler/small child PFD which we'll bring, too.

When I started scuba diving as a young teenager, I did plenty of hull scrubbin' for what I considered to be really easy and good cash. I'm not above reliving those times (without the cash)... Certainly not, and especially for a friend.

Count me in. Should I bring my tank and regulater with 50' lead? Cheap little hooka set up, but it allows me to free dive while leaving the tank on the deck. With all of us cleaning, shouldn't take long at all. Most of the young 'uns are old enough to hold a scrub brush as well! Earn your keep, you brats!!

Alright right, now... How did this work? Let's see... Weekends don't count, so that leaves Monday as the first day of the week. First day of the week, we're just getting started so we won't count that. Friday is really part of the weekend so we'll just leave that out, too. So by our Fireman/St Augustine standards, it really is...

You forget...Monday is a holiday, therefore, we start on Tuesday...which really doesn't count because we're getting over a 3 day weekend. Be there on Friday, so that day doesn't count, as does Thursday before, because we're prepping for Friday. The way I figure it, it's about 48 hours away!

I may be there by then, it depends on what time I get on the road, 6 to 7 hours driving time and time out for a meal somewhere along the way. That makes for a 7 to 8 hour trip. I still plan to be there.
Having a good weekend here so far, put about 6 hours on the boat, soaked up some salt and sun with the family.
