My wife started asking me what the plans are, what or how are we eating, how many people going to be there, I said no real plans. S0, what are we doing??? Do we have a head count, I guessed at 20 people, we will probably get some bbq and bring with us. I would like to know what we are doing, we can get sandwich meat, bread, for anything that may be away from the dock, or even at the dock. This is supposed to be fun so no one needs to do a lot of cooking. I am going to bed now, hope to have some posts on this by morning. That way we can decide some things from our end. I know it is late in the game. :facepalm:

To nlain: We have a store next to the tiki that makes breakfast and lunch sandwitches, pastries, and pizza. Hot coffee or tea. Some fresh fruit. If there is something we need, they usually have it. I hope the boys catch some fish for the grill. Snook season is in, and they are mighty tasty. Kimi is planning some finger food like vegies and shrimp.

I guess around 15 to participate.

I plan on leaving about 6 AM, so about 7 hours later I should be there, the maps say a little over 6 hours driving time, stops for gas and food should put us there around 7 hours later. At least that is the plan, pack car tonight, drag the kids out of bed, strap them in the back seat and go. Something always seems to delay our leaving so we will see how this time goes.

Will be me and 4 others. Wife, 1 1/2 kids (the 6 month old is half), and dad. Will bring some food and drinks. Its about a 3 hour drive for us. I am debating if i should take my small car to be cheap on gas or take my big car to be more comfy and it has tv's to keep the kids quiet. What would you do?

Should i bring a rod???? Oh i would love to catch some fish!! Its been too long for me, havent fished for nearly 4-5 months. Anything else? besides my ugly face of course... im taking it with me regardless!

Well, spoke to VH about 2 hours ago and he was an hour away, so I 'll have to assume all is good. Got the truck mostly loaded, London Broils already marinading, smoker is in the truck (NEW! Will need to be assembled ). Just ran the jet skis and made sure the trailer was set for the run. I'm only about 3 hours away, so we'll leave tomorrow morning around 9:00. We will have 3 with us for this run.

We will be stopping to eat and will pick up some Sonny's BBQ Pork to bring for everybody to eat, will get some sides, buns at stuff so you can fix a sandwich or make a plate, if anyone does not want Pork we can pick up some beef as well, just let us know. I will be checking here off and on till I go to bed tonight, will try and check quickly in the AM then will be on the road so no checking after that.

Have not found anyone else up yet this AM, we had a great ride yesterday bringing the boat back home and then some more great fellowship afterwards. Looking for some more fun today. Have a few Pics that I can post sometime later, will probably get some more today. Now I need to go beat on some doors and get some peoples up.

OMG- Captain Skip just said if I can get us there while he sleeps we can join you tomorrow. Awesome. I am mapping now. Fireman said he was 3 hours away so we should be there by 11:00 or so. Can't wait to meet everyone. I hope that is not when you are taking your side trip, the 3-hour tour. if so, we will be waiting when you get back.
