Hey you're makin us jealous out here on the West Coast! Sounds like an awesome get together and a great group of people. Wish I lived closer. I am planning a sailing trip to the Keys but it's not until spring, and that's still way too far away from party central though

Some of this group first met in the St Augustine thread, we all went to St Augustine, sat on the dock talking, having a few drinks, eating food cooked on boat grills and became friends, it was almost like we had known each other for years. There were several threads started about the same time and this one and the St Augustine threads survived and brought some iboaters together for a second time and we had a few new ones join us at this gathering of friends. We have a group here from several different walks of life who share a love of boating and the things associated with it and water. Some of us traveled quite a distance for the second gathering and it was well worth the effort, would do it again to be with this group of friends.

The Keys? We're in....only about 7 hours from us. We were just talking last night about setting up a Keys trip in the Spring. Let us know when you make your arrangements.

As far as that trailer goes, I'm 6' 3" and the average height of everything in there was 6'! Especially that *$^&%# ceiling fan that is in the bedroom!!! That thing beat the **** out of me!

Watch out 12vMan.....We just may invade and pillage your boat!

We have a group here from several different walks of life who share a love of boating and the things associated with it and water. Some of us traveled quite a distance for the second gathering and it was well worth the effort, would do it again to be with this group of friends.

Everything you said is sooooo true, nlain. You made a great effort to be here and I am so glad you did. I'll give you a shout the next time we are in your area.

Count us in! I have a trip planned to take Amusement to SC in March. I should be available after that. I hope to find another ride by then. We will see how it works out.

...And you know we'll be there. Just told my wife and she told me, "I already saw it!!!" As long as it's March or after (the more after the better), that seems like a very sufficient amount of time to prepare. My wife had a million dollar smile on her face while we spoke about it.

Yeah... We're in!!! Besides, how could we let you guys go it alone??? What's Fireman gonna do to stay safe on the water without VH jr jr (AKA SamIam) lookin' out for him?

Just for the summer, Fireman. His wife has a class reunion and I'm expected to have the boat there for the event. They are planning on a boat full for a cruise. Gonna be a big party.

You're right on both counts, my Friend!!! Or I guess, all three.

April/May would be great. That's what we had planned for St Augustine this year and it turned into June. Gave us plenty of time to save, prep, and plan. So far, we're 2 for 2. Can't wait to make it 3 for 3 in the Keys!!! After that, I guess it's gonna be at my place or nlain's.

I'm getting ready to bring mine back around and may have to do the 250 mile jaunt solo!

Going to have to almost rebuild 3 A/C units, Fireman. I don't know the itenerary yet but I will keep you posted. I would love to have your expierence with me. Same here, If you would like a hand I'm sure I can make myself available.

Man, I wish I lived just a few hours closer!!! It's all good, though. We're all willing to travel to get together. This year has been great. Next year will be even better; and this year isn't even over. Who knows what the future may hold for all of us!!! See You soon!!!

Our group out here got together this weekend and we have decided to ink a trip to the BVI's rather that the Keys I'm hoping some of this group can still make it a little farther southeast! We're in the process of getting info together and I'm looking fo recommendations...

I'm not sure they will allow me back in those islands.:facepalm: Of my favorites is the Turks and Caicos, BWI. Dominican
republic and Cuba are a close 2nd.
