AHAHAH Get a $20 1/2ton hoist from homedepot and tie it to a tree then lift your motor off. Or a engine hoist.
Matt

I've never seen a thread with so much use of the tree in it's original form! Lol, keep it up, I love this thread.

Noah did it and you can't argue with that.:D

If you read the book, the boat only lasted for a yearv and then Noah ran it up on some really big rock. Also, he apparently had some motor problems because all he did was drift around the middle east.

yeah but it also had a higher load capacity than any composite boat I've ever seen.

ok i have some pics of the demo that i did today but they are on my phone and not on my digital camera. i need to get a card reader that i can load into my usb port on my puter so that i can download them.

I also built an engine stand like the one OOPS made along with many other on here.

the short time that i am going to have it off i think it will hold up. i will however fab one up out of metal if this takes to long to do.

as far as i can tell with what all was done today in about 3 hours, i think i might really have this thing done in three weeks...weather permitting.

Rain tomorrow, thurs. looks kinda good and then fri. and sat. are supposed to be really nice so i should atleast have the trees out of the boat and everything ready for some new stringers and transom to go in by the start of next week.

My cousin Austyn and his buddy Matt were over today helping with the demo. They are two of the best bluegrass playing sons of guns i have ever listened to. Check them out at www.myspace.com/bluedirection . Anyhow here are just a couple, i will have the rest up tomorrow if the conficker dont get me first.

.....Wood in boats = stupid and their should never be any wood in a bot...

Wood in boats can be pretty though :D

Not everyone has an MFG which has fiberglass stringers and decks that never rot :p
