Try Cabin Johns Cove.It's on the port side going down the Elk River before Turkey Point light house. Lots of rooms for water skying ,rafting ,jet skying swimming and of course cookouts.This thursday I'm finally going to put the boat in the water. I'll be at Stemmers run putting those plastic runners on my bunks .Then we'll take the Silver Eagle out for a spin. This weekend I plan on going to Lloyds Creek and Cabin Johns cove and to Hacks Point and beyond. If you have a shallow draft boat after going under the 213 bridge take the slow left and follow it up for a couple of miles. Bring a camera. Lots of wild life. We'll be in a 24 ft pontoon boat with Diamond plating around the front..
