It's a very small 12v electric trolling motor. It was made for an inflatable raft. I think the brand is Minnkota. I bought it used a year ago from someone on Craigslist. It'll probably push me along at 1 or 2 knots.

What size trolling mtr r you gonna use on that canoe? Welcome to the forum!Theres no old boys here as far as canoes,just gas hog mtrs.If anything is gonna happen,its gonna happen out on the water!

Aww,,my buddy's not going with me to T-Bar this weekend now so I'm on my own, which means I probably won't be getting on the water.

Oh well, I've got plenty to do on the trailer, I've got plenty of brewskies, and the weather is gonna be awesome!

Now that wouldn't be very nice of me. We'll meet up when we can have that cold together. I'm supposed to meet a couple other boats at swallow. I'll be cruising out your way soon enough. With the way the lake is dropping don't look like a Seperation run this year huh?

I don't think there's much of a chance. The lake has already dropped several feet since my friends went in the canyon and he got readings as shallow as 4 feet on the way up...But hey, we've got some great beaches now.

I was planning on going fishing,then suddenly,truck throttle broke and primer bulb on boat was bad too i noticed.Im jealous,when i was younger these things never happened,if so it was on the lake or on the way and i fixed them as i went,now i just think about what could happen!!12vman i wish i was there to join you,but i can barely make it to calville.ha ha The spirit of the lake is like old photos for me now.

thought i'd check in.

did go over to flaming gorge the other day to look at slips. the water temp there was 40*.

12vman i wish i was there to join you,but i can barely make it to calville.ha ha The spirit of the lake is like old photos for me now.

We'll be out all summer so there's plenty of time to meet out there. Hopefully you can get your maintenance issues taken care of to make it out to Wishing Well Cove sometime. It's only as far as the narrows and should be reachable by your boat.

I'm doing a remodel right now for a couple that have a place in Boulder and we're going to meet there sometime this summer as well.

If you are taking about defiance house , they are still there, just up Forgotten Canyon. Here are some pics John3 posted on another fourm, great pictures.

yes plenty of slips but they are as much there as mead or powell.

water to cold for us, so will pass for that and just go for a camping trip maybe a couple of times.

Yea, gotta admit 40* is, well, a little cold considering the survivability in that water is only 30-90 minutes depending on what you're wearing
